East Coast Snowmageddon Photographed by NASA

On February 19, NASA satellite Terra snapped this picture of the Eastern U.S. from 200 miles up – and in the words of the space agency, it “looks like a deep freeze.”  The East Coast snowmageddon phenomenon is referred to with the catch phrase, “The Siberian Express” by Daily Mail.  Has anyone seen the 2004 sci-fi movie, “The Day After Tomorrow”? This satellite image looks similar to those seen in that climate disaster movie (which, by the way, is a very good movie to watch, laden with great visual CGI special effects).
