Colorization process is perfected. Lucy colorized looks brand new.
The two new colorized episodes of “I Love Lucy,” the first of which was their arrival in Hollywood where Lucy meets William Holden at the Brown Derby movie star restaurant, and the second where Lucy meets Superman, both called “The ‘I Love Lucy’ Superstar Special” that aired May 17, was the highest rated scripted program of the night on broadcast TV with 6.4 million total viewers. The special had almost twice the number of live viewers as the highly promoted finale of “Mad Men” on AMC.
