Told by his CIA commander that actress Marilyn Monroe was a threat to the country’s security because she slept with Cuba’s Fidel Castro, a now 74-year-old former CIA agent/killer by the name of Normand Hodges claims on his deathbed he was ordered to kill the actress. He says he entered Monroe’s bedroom in the early morning hours of August 5, 1962 while she was sleeping and injected her with a massive dose of chloral hydrate (a powerful sedative), mixed with Nembutal (a short-acting barbiturate), causing her death.
[Monroe’s bedroom was found locked from the inside, so Hodges has some explaining to do about that.-Ed.]
