A colossal 1.6 mile-wide space rock — known as 8666 (26000 FL10) — is hurtling toward Earth at 40,000 miles per hour at this time. NASA says the asteroid will not impact Earth, but will come very close to the moon, just missing us.
Conspiracy theorists call the news a “NASA cover-up.”
