While a speech on climate change doesn’t exactly fall into our theme of weird, fringe news, it’s something quite scary for the future of the world. The fact is the more carbon dioxide in our atmosphere, the warmer conditions become.

Carbon emissions are going into the atmosphere by tens of millions of car tailpipes all over the world, by smokestacks spewing the fumes, the burning of coal and other fossil fuels.

To start, all new cars should be mass produced worldwide with alternative internal combustion engines that do not use fossil fuel and sold at reasonable economical prices EVERYONE can afford.

The automobile is the #1 source of carbon emissions going into the atmosphere, the carbon dioxide of which is warming Earths oceans and climate. Simply, the car is destroying the world and mankind’s future on the surface of the Earth.

Fact: the more carbon dioxide in our atmosphere, the more warm climate becomes affecting weather, causing terrible storms, famine, death and destruction worldwide.

These are the facts that climate change deniers deny. For over 150 years with the advent of industrialization fumes have been going into the air we breathe. The carbon returns to the surface by weather as acid rain. We live a huge bubble. A planet with a protective shield around it. It just doesn’t escape into outer space. We’re breathing it, we’re eating it, we’re bathing in it.

The excess of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere leads to warmer oceans, which cause hurricanes. You’ve all seen the devastation on the news, with terrible floods, fires, drought and those awful freezing winters with way too much snow. Warm oceans, such as the El Nino effect happening now in the Pacific Ocean affect weather patterns.

In some future era, long after you who are reading this are dead, living on the surface of Earth will be a nightmare.  As the polar caps melt, sea levels will rise, flooding and sinking coastal cities.  In a future era whole cities will be under water.  Not only that, but food crops will be affected.  Animal life dependent on cold climates will become extinct.  Winters will be harsh, summers even worse.

Nations all around the world MUST start now to defeat the destruction of the world by developing and making available non-fossil fuel dependent vessels for travel, followed by revamping industrialization to clean exhaust.
