Fans of the 1970s crime drama “Kojak” (1973-78) rejoice, the gritty NY detective will be reborn in a new theatrical film starring Vin Diesel as Lt. Kojak (originally played by Telly Savalas (1922-1994)).  “Kojak” is currently playing on the ME TV network late nights at 12:30 after “Perry Mason.”
